Governor Ron DeSantis today spoke on his Bold Vision for High Quality Education at Mt. Moriah Christian Fundamental Academy. The Governor was joined by Senate President Bill Galvano, Senator Manny Díaz, Jr., Senator Jeff Brandes, Senator Ed Hooper, Representative Chris Sprowls, Representative Jennifer Sullivan, Representative Chris Latvala, Representative Jackie Toledo, Representative Wengay “Newt” Newton, Representative Jamie Grant, Representative Amber Mariano and Representative Ardian Zika.
“Mt. Moriah Christian Academy, like many of the great schools we’ve visited, is offering students new opportunities and a learning environment they can thrive in,” said Governor DeSantis. “The historic educational initiatives passed by the Florida Legislature this session are a resounding victory for students and parents across our state. I won’t rest until every parent, regardless of income or zip code, has the ability to send their child to a great school and give them a world class education.”
Mt. Moriah Christian Fundamental Academy aims to develop individuals of Christian character as effective members and leaders of the community. This is the first year that students who started with Mt. Moriah as 6th graders are now graduating from high school and are holding a 100 percent graduation rate.
