Commissioner Altmaier Applauds FY 2019-2020 Budget

Florida Office of Insurance Regulation Commissioner David Altmaier released the following statement today following the Governor’s signature of Senate Bill 2500, General Appropriations Act, securing Florida’s 2019-2020 FY Budget:

“The Office of Insurance Regulation oversees one of the largest, most complex insurance industries in the world and Governor DeSantis continues to show he remains committed to fostering insurance markets where reliable insurance products remain available across our state at more affordable prices for all Floridians.”

“I look forward to working with Governor DeSantis, members of Florida’s Cabinet and the Florida Legislature in our continued efforts to foster a reasonable and purposeful regulatory climate in Florida.”
