Various closures within the Interstate 95 (I-95) Widening and Systems Interchange project
next week including complete nighttime closure of I-95 from U.S. 92 to LPGA Boulevard

Motorists traveling in the Daytona Beach area should anticipate various closures within the Interstate 92 (I-95) Widening and Systems Interchange project limits. Beginning at 10 p.m. Monday, July 22, a continuous closure is planned for the on ramp from eastbound U.S. 92 (International Speedway Boulevard/ISB) to southbound I-95. The ramp is scheduled to open by 10 p.m. on Thursday, July 25.  In addition to the continuous closure, construction activities will also require multiple nighttime closures at the I-4 and U.S. 92 (ISB) interchanges, including the complete closure of I-95 from U.S. 92 (ISB) to LPGA Boulevard as well as the closure of westbound I-4 from I-95 to Tomoka Farms Road, weather permitting.

How it will work:

  • Traffic from northbound I-95 heading to westbound I-4 will be directed to exit onto S.R. 400 (Beville Road) and take northbound Williamson Boulevard to westbound U.S. 92 (ISB) to access westbound I-4.

(Thurs., July 25 is a backup date)

How it will work:

  • Traffic from northbound I-95 will be directed to exit at U.S. 92 (ISB) and take northbound Williamson Boulevard to LPGA Boulevard to access northbound I-95.
  • Traffic from southbound I-95 will be directed to exit onto LPGA Boulevard to southbound Williamson Boulevard to U.S. 92 (ISB) to access southbound I-95.

  • Traffic from S.R. 400 (Beville Road) will be directed to take northbound Williamson Boulevard to westbound U.S. 92 (ISB) to access westbound I-4.
