Multiple Traffic Pacing Operations on Eastbound I-4 Scheduled for July 26

Posted on July 25, 2019

Multiple traffic pacing operations are scheduled to occur on eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) between 12 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Friday, July 26.

Eastbound I-4 operations begin at State Road 535 (Kissimmee-Vineland Road) and conclude at Universal Boulevard.

During the operations, eastbound I-4 entrance ramps from State Road 528 (Beachline Expressway) and Sand Lake Road will be temporarily blocked. As the traffic pacing operations pass each interchange, law enforcement officers will reopen the entrance ramp. Each traffic pacing operation on I-4 creates a 30-minute window for crews to install sign structures over eastbound I-4 travel lanes.

View or download an online map of the temporary I-4 on-ramp closures at: https://fdot.tips/ebi4TPO.

Modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone.
