Longwood Mayor and former WWE Superstar supports proven
conservative principles of former member of Florida House
Matt Morgan, Longwood Mayor and former WWE Superstar, has endorsed Jason Brodeur for Florida State Senate, releasing the following statement:
“I am proud to endorse Jason Brodeur to be our next state senator in Seminole County,” Morgan said. “Throughout his service in the Florida House, Jason exhibited an exceptional commitment to the success of our community, the health of our businesses and the well-being of local, hardworking residents.
“As a former WWE Superstar, I applaud Jason’s willingness to ‘go to the mat’ for Central Florida families and the most vulnerable among us,” Morgan added. “Working with Jason I’ve witnessed first-hand the positive effects of the conservative principles he champions.”
“It is an honor to receive Matt’s endorsement,” Brodeur said. “Matt cares deeply about our community and the families who call it home, and it goes without saying that I’m glad to have him in my corner of the ring in what will be a competitive election. I look forward to working with him to smack down frivolous taxes and regulations like he used to smack down his opponents in the WWE.”
Brodeur was born in Daytona Beach, Florida and graduated from Oviedo High School. After working for Procter and Gamble over 11 years, Brodeur started his own health care consulting company headquartered in Sanford, Florida and is currently President/CEO of the Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Matt Morgan was elected to the Longwood City Commission in 2017 after retiring from a career in professional wrestling. He currently lives in Longwood with his wife and son.
