Open House on Improvements at the Harbor City Boulevard and Pineda Causeway Intersection

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is hosting an open house on Thursday, Aug. 22, regarding proposed plans to improve safety and operations at the Harbor City Boulevard and Pineda Causeway intersection. The following improvements include:

  • Extend the westbound to southbound ramp auxiliary lane through the eastbound ramp intersection;
  • Construct an additional eastbound to southbound right turn lane; and
  • Signalize the intersection of Harbor City Boulevard and Pineda Causeway eastbound ramps.

The open house is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Pineda Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall located at 5650 N. Wickham Rd. in Melbourne. Community members are invited to attend at any time to view project information, which includes a display presentation on a continuous loop and speak with project team members. No formal presentation will be given.
