Postponed: Florida Energy & Climate Summit, September 4-6, 2019

Posted on August 30, 2019

As Hurricane Dorian approaches Florida with expected Category 4 force and uncertain projected path, the Office of Energy in the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services has postponed the 2019 Florida Energy & Climate Summit, which was to be held September 4-6 at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay.

Due to the storm’s expected impact upon the speakers, panelists, and several hundred registered attendees, the Summit will be rescheduled for a future date. For those scheduled to attend the Summit, hotel reservations at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay should be cancelled by midnight on Monday, September 2 by calling (813) 874-1234. For any questions regarding the Summit, contact the Office of Energy at (850) 617-7470 or [email protected].
