PSC Customer Meeting for Placid Lakes Utilities, Inc.

The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) invites customers of Placid Lakes Utilities, Inc. (Placid Lakes) to a customer meeting on Thursday, September 12, to discuss the utility’s petition for a rate change. Customers can comment on Placid Lakes’ proposed rates and any quality of service issues at the meeting.

The last PSC staff-assisted rate case for this system occurred in 2013. Placid Lakes provides water service to approximately 1,970 residential customers and 30 general service customers in Highland County.

The meeting is scheduled for the following time and location:

Thursday, September 12, 2019
6:00 p.m.
Town of Lake Placid
Council Chambers
1069 U.S. Highway 27 North
Lake Placid, FL 33852
