Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Two to the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged

Governor Ron DeSantis today announced the appointments of Renee Knight and Christinne Rudd to the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged. The Commission is charged with ensuring the availability of efficient, cost-effective and quality transportation services for disadvantaged persons.

Renee Knight
Knight, of Middleburg, is the vice president of community services at ElderSource. She maintains her nursing home administrator license and is a certified community transit manager. Additionally, she is a member of the St. Johns County Coordinating Board. Knight earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in health administration from the University of North Florida. Knight is appointed to a four-year term.

Christinne Rudd
Rudd, of Ocoee, is a coordinator with Florida Self-Advocates Network’D. Previously, she worked as an advocate at the Center for Independent Living in Central Florida and was a witness coordinator with the State Attorney’s Office. She earned her bachelor’s degree in legal studies and her master’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Central Florida. Rudd is appointed to a four-year term.
