Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Two to the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit

Governor Ron DeSantis today announced the appointments of Judge Caroline Shepherd and Judge Renatha Francis to the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court. The Fifteenth Judicial Circuit serves Palm Beach County.

Caroline Shepherd
Shepherd, of Palm Beach Gardens, has served as a Palm Beach County Court Judge since 2009. She previously served as an Assistant State Attorney for the 15th Circuit State Attorney’s Office. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and her law degree from New England Law. Shepherd fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Jeffrey Colbath.

Renatha Francis
Francis, of Miami, has served as an Eleventh Circuit Court Judge since 2017. She previously served as an attorney at Shutts and Bowen LLP. She received her bachelor’s degree from University of The West Indies and her law degree from Florida Coastal Law School. Francis fills the vacancy created by the death of Meenu Sasser.
