FDLE agents and analysts are offering free cybersecurity training in Washington, Bay, Gulf and Escambia counties during National Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
“Today people can be victimized without ever leaving their homes or offices. This training, provided by our cyber investigators who work daily in this field, offers best practices and tips so our citizens can be safer online,” said FDLE Pensacola Special Agent in Charge Jack Massey. “This free training is a great opportunity for Panhandle businesses and residents of all computer skill levels.”
Training is scheduled for three hours and will include basic security tips, secure passwords and how to protect against online fraud, social engineering, malicious software, phishing and more.
