Republican Congressional Candidate Omar Blanco Raises Over $100,000 in 41 Days for Congressional Run

Posted on October 15, 2019

Republican Congressional candidate Omar Blanco raises over $100,000 in 41 days for his Congressional run in District 26. With contributions from Key West, Florida to San Jose, California, Blanco’s donor pool spans across the country.

“We are off to a strong start,” Blanco said. “Raising more than $100,000 in just 41 days is a testament that people believe in our campaign message and that we are on the right path to flipping Congressional District 26 red. I am extremely thankful to all that have contributed.”

Blanco’s third quarter haul is comprised of 273 personal contributions with an average contribution of $339 per person.

Omar Blanco is the President of Miami-Dade Fire/Rescue Local 1403 and announced his candidacy for Congressional District 26 on August 20th. Florida Congressional District 26 stretches from Southwestern Miami-Dade County to Key West (all of Monroe County).
