Michigan Street under I-4 Closing the Weekend of Nov. 1

Continuous closure scheduled to begin as early as 10 p.m.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is closing Michigan Street under Interstate 4 (I-4) as early as 10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, and reopening it by 6 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 4. The closure is necessary for drainage work.

Motorists traveling on eastbound Michigan Street will turn left onto Orange Blossom Trail (U.S. 441/17-92), turn right onto Kaley Avenue, turn right onto Division Avenue and continue to Michigan Street.

Those traveling westbound will turn right onto Division Avenue, turn left onto Kaley Avenue and turn left onto Orange Blossom Trail.

Modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work zone.
