The Florida Lottery announces that the Benzene Trust, of Indialantic, claimed a $5 million top prize from the $20 MONOPOLY™ JACKPOT Scratch-Off game at the Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. They chose to receive their winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $3,562,000.00.
The winning Scratch-Off ticket was purchased at One Stop, located at 1703 Mahan Drive in Tallahassee. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The $20 Scratch-Off game, MONOPOLY JACKPOT, launched in September 2018, and features more than $407.5 million in prizes, including six top prizes of $5 million. The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-2.97.
Scratch-Offs are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, generating more than $871 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in FY 2017-18, and comprising approximately 69 percent of ticket sales.
