Governor Ron DeSantis today announced the appointment of David Broskie as Clay County Superintendent of Schools. This appointment is effective March 2, 2020.

Broskie, of Fleming Island, is the assistant superintendent of the Clay County School District, a position he has held since 2015. Broskie has worked for the Clay County School District for thirty years and served as a principal from 2003 until 2015. He was recognized as Principal of the Year in 2010 by the Florida Department of Education. Broskie earned his bachelor’s degree in education from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania and his master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of North Florida.
