The 2020 Cool Breeze Art and Smooth Jazz Festival sponsored by Mary’s Visions Folk Art Museum and Gallery, Inc. will feature The JWB Band from Kansas City, Missouri.
This event is FREE to the public on Friday at Hampton Inn and Suites from 6pm to 9pm and Saturday at Railroad Square Crafthouse from 6pm to 10pm. VIP tickets are available for Saturday only at $20 per person. VIP includes preferred seating and a special VIP bag.
The JWB Band has opened for David Sanborne, Stanley Clarke, and Jonathan Scales with an eclectic style like Sypro Gyro and the Rippingtons. Their show consists of a variety of R&B, Jazz and Funk with a taste of Frankie Beverly and Maze sure to keep your head bobbing and toes tapping for an unforgettable performance!
The festival will also feature a local band called Operation 1254. During the festival, three community leaders will be honored including:
- Royce Lovett, Motown Gospel Recording Artist and Tallahassee native who recently competed on the television show, “The Voice”
- Felina Martin, Executive Director of the Institute for Nonprofit Innovation and Excellence (INIE)
- Lisa Brown, President and CEO of Tallahassee-Leon Federal Credit Union.
