The Florida A&M University (FAMU) Bragg Stadium parking lot will host a walk-up COVID-19 testing site beginning on Saturday, April 25.
The site, which is being hosted especially for residents of Tallahassee’s southside, is scheduled to operate for 14 consecutive days from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Organizers plan to conduct 200 tests per day. Testing is free and open to the public.
Residents who believe they have COVID-19 symptoms can make an appointment or walk up for testing. The Florida Department of Health will notify individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19, while the Bond Community Health Center staff will call those whose tests are negative. No physician referral is required.
The testing site is organized by FAMU and the Bond Community Health Center, with logistical and other support from the Florida Department of Health and the Florida Department of Management Services.
