Reflecting his strong record of support and commitment to public education, Senator Jose Javier Rodriguez (D-Miami) has been endorsed by the Florida Education Association and the United Teachers of Dade in his campaign for re-election to Florida Senate District 37.
“Throughout my career, I have made protecting public education and ensuring our students, teachers, and education professionals have the resources they need a top priority,” stated Senator Jose Javier Rodriguez. “During this unprecedented time, we have all seen the incredible importance educators play in the daily lives of our children and we cannot thank them enough for their efforts. I am honored to have the support of the Florida Education Association and the United Teachers of Dade and look forward to continuing to work with our sisters and brothers in labor for a better public education system for all Florida students.”
Comprising over 100 local unions, the Florida Education Association is the largest labor union in the Southeast. The FEA collectively represents more than 145,000 education professionals throughout the state of Florida.
