Bob Cortes today announced he has been endorsed by the Central Florida Chapter Associated Builders and Contractors PAC.
“We appreciate Rep. Cortes’s past support for free enterprise and workforce development and look forward to working with him in the 2021 Session,” said Thomas Wert, ABC PAC Chairman.
Founded on the merit shop philosophy, ABC helps members develop people, win work, and deliver that work safely and ethically for the betterment of community.
“I’m honored to receive this endorsement from one of our most important sectors in Central Florida,” said former Representative Bob Cortes. “During these challenging times, we will be focused on rebuilding our economy with hard work and ingenuity. I look forward to working with our builders and contractors and making sure our public policy supports American enterprise.”
Earlier this week, Cortes was endorsed by BusinessForce. Prior public service for Bob Cortes includes serving as the Mayor of Longwood and two terms as a State Representative, where he served as Deputy Majority Whip, Education Committee Vice Chair, and Transportation & Infrastructure Subcommittee Vice Chair.
ABC’s membership represents all specialties within the U.S. construction industry and is comprised primarily of firms that perform work in the industrial and commercial sectors.
