Bob Cortes hires Hunter Lamirande as campaign manager for HD 30 campaign

Posted on June 3, 2020

Bob Cortes today announced that he has brought on Hunter Lamirande to serve as his campaign manager for the House District 30 campaign in 2020.

“Hunter is the right person to lead this campaign and help me communicate to the voters across House District 30,” said Bob Cortes. “I look forward to working with him to bring our message of more job growth and greater opportunity for all of our region’s residents.”

“I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be joining Team Cortes as the Campaign Manager,” said Hunter Lamirande. Over these next few months we’ll work consistently to reach out and listen to residents throughout District 30 and win back the seat.”

Hunter Lamirande is the Owner and Founder of Point Blank Political. Established in April of 2019, the business has seen explosive growth. He has been a resident to the Central Florida region for 8 years with a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Southern Maine and a strong interest in politics. He has spent his time working in political consulting for the past 6 years to help candidates reach voters effectively and be elected to office. He has worked on campaigns from the municipal level up to the White House. Hunter serves on the board of The Greater Orlando Young Republicans and helps lead the group and its members in a positive direction and reach like-minded young individuals. When he’s not wrapped up in politics, you can find Hunter watching hockey, playing golf, or spending time with his wife and 2 dogs (Huck and Kate).

Earlier this week, Cortes was endorsed by BusinessForce and the Central Florida Chapter of Associated Builders & Contractors. Prior public service for Bob Cortes includes serving as the Mayor of Longwood and two terms as a State Representative, where he served as Deputy Majority Whip, Education Committee Vice Chair, and Transportation & Infrastructure Subcommittee Vice Chair.
