Industry Veteran Bauta Joins Suddath As Logistics Sales Executive

Suddath®, a leading global transportation, relocation and logistics company, has announced the appointment of industry veteran Maria Bauta as a logistics sales executive. In this new role, Bauta will be responsible for building logistics relationships and driving sales for Suddath’s logistics sector for Central and South Florida.

“We are excited to welcome Maria to our team,” said Jon Rapp, Suddath regional sales director for the southeast. “As Suddath continues to see significant expansion of its logistics business in the southeastern U.S., her years of experience in logistics, freight operations and sales, coupled with her deep knowledge of the Florida market make her a perfect fit for this position.”

Bauta is a versatile industry veteran with more than 16 years of experience in logistics, freight operations and sales. She has held numerous positions throughout her career, beginning as a management trainee for trucking company Roadway Express. In her previous roles, she has served as an account executive at SAIA LTL Freight and Con-Way Inc. Her areas of expertise include warehouse operations, logistics and supply chain management, performance management, training and development, and talent acquisition and recruiting.

Bauta has a Bachelor of Science in communications and a from Florida International University and an executive certificate in the principles of agile selling from Florida State University.
