The Florida Department of Transportation is performing maintenance work on 15th Street East at the intersection with 23rd Avenue East in Manatee County. On Monday, August 10 at 9 a.m., crews will close 15th Street East in both directions to allow for the work. Motorists should follow posted detour signs; or, use local routes. FDOT reminds motorists to use caution and be aware of construction workers in the construction zone. Motorists should expect delays. The maintenance work is expected to be completed mid-August, weather permitting.
