14th POWERBALL jackpot-winning ticket sold in Florida since 2009!
The Florida Lottery announces that one lucky Florida player matched all five numbers and the Powerball in the Wednesday, August 12, POWERBALL® drawing, winning the $168.5 million jackpot! The POWERBALL jackpot rolled 17 times since the June 13, 2020, drawing and generated approximately $16.5 million in contributions to the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).
The winning numbers were 2-6-18-36-37 and the Powerball was 21. The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Publix, located at 4770 North Congress Avenue in Boynton Beach. The retailer will receive $100,000 for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
Wednesday night’s POWERBALL drawing also produced two $50,000 winners and one $100,000 winner! The $50,000 winning tickets were purchased at Publix, located at 841 Cypress Parkway in Poinciana, and at Publix, located at 3720 Northwest 13th Street in Gainesville. The $100,000 winning ticket was purchased at Publix, located at 18320 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach.
The next POWERBALL drawing will be held Saturday, August 15, at 10:59 p.m. ET with an estimated $20 million jackpot. National POWERBALL drawings are broadcast live, in high-definition, from the Florida Lottery’s state of the art draw studio in Tallahassee. Florida Lottery game drawings are broadcast on 17 carrier stations throughout the state. Drawings are also available for viewing on the Lottery’s YouTube channel.
