Includes ramp closures between John Young Parkway and Kaley Avenue
The Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) I-4 Ultimate project is shifting eastbound Interstate 4 (I-4) travel lanes into their final configuration between John Young Parkway (Exit 79) and Kaley Avenue (Exit 81) tonight. The shift eliminates the temporary ramp configuration over Orange Blossom Trail, returning interchange ramps to a more traditional alignment.
To implement the shift, the eastbound entrance ramp from John Young Parkway and the eastbound exits and entrance ramps at Orange Blossom Trail and Kaley Avenue will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, August 21, to 5 a.m. Saturday, August 22.
I-4 motorists may encounter up to two lanes closed on eastbound I-4 between 10 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday. Please view or download this handout for more information.
All motorists are urged to avoid distractions, follow posted signage, and drive safely.
Modifications or extensions to these schedules may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are encouraged to follow @I4Ultimate on Twitter or visit I4Ultimate.com for updates.
