Edwards-Walpole says Cortes is the only candidate in House
District 30 that will build consensus across party lines
The Bob Cortes for State Representative Campaign today announced the endorsement of former Democratic State Representative Katie Edwards-Walpole.
“During these uncertain times, we need strong, unwavering leaders who know how to achieve bi-partisan solutions that put people first,” said Edwards-Walpole. “I endorse Bob Cortes because he is passionate about his community and will take pains to keep us safe while also working in smart ways to reboot our economy and increase access to better healthcare for all.”
Katie Edwards-Walpole is a former Democratic member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing the 98th District, which includes parts of Davie, Plantation, and Sunrise in southern Broward County, from 2012 to 2018.
“I am grateful to Representative Edwards-Walpole for her endorsement,” said former State Representative Bob Cortes. “I look forward to putting politics aside and getting to work for the people of Central Florida to provide the results they deserve.”
Bob Cortes has been endorsed by four members of the Seminole County School Board, the Florida Chamber of Commerce, the Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association, BusinessForce, Associated Builders and Contractors, and the Florida Police Benevolent Association.
