Senator Jose Javier Rodriguez’s campaign has released their second TV ad in order to highlight his strong record of advocating for the issues that matter to the people of District 37 and to dispel his opponent’s false attacks.
The ad, titled “Lies,” begins by calling out Ileana Garcia’s dishonest attacks on his record and showcases his support from Florida’s top law enforcement unions. To further discredit Garcia, a clear link is made between Garcia’s support of Donald Trump’s dishonesty and her campaign tactics, while focusing on Senator Rodriguez’s support for higher wages, expanded access to affordable healthcare, and work to combat the threat of climate change.
“In my time serving District 37, I have been extremely proud of the work I have done supporting our first responders, finding solutions to our climate crisis, and expanding access to healthcare,” stated Senator Jose Javier Rodriguez (D-Miami). “The people of District 37 won’t be distracted by these scare tactics from my opponent because they know that the problems we face are bigger than tired rhetoric and can only be solved by working together for a better future.”
