In a sign of the deep well of support Senator Jose Javier Rodriguez (D-Miami) has built during his time serving the people of Miami-Dade County, a bipartisan group of twenty-two elected municipal leaders from South Florida have endorsed his campaign for reelection in Senate District 37. The endorsements encompass local officials throughout the district and include mayors, vice mayors, and council members.
“When it comes to solving problems facing people at the local level, we must put partisanship aside to find solutions that help our constituents,” stated Senator Jose Javier Rodriguez. “During my time in the State Legislature, I’ve worked with members of both parties in Tallahassee and in Miami-Dade County to confront our climate crisis, expand access to affordable housing, and find innovative ways to improve our public transportation. I am proud to have the support of this bipartisan group of local leaders who put in the work every day on issues big and small to improve our quality of life here in South Florida.”
