The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will temporarily close the westbound Interstate 4 (I-4) entrance ramps from eastbound and westbound Maitland Boulevard (State Road 414) and Lake Destiny Road for one weekend, beginning Friday, October 30.
The three-day closure will begin as soon as 10 p.m. Friday, October 30, and will reopen as soon as 5 a.m. Monday, November 2. Please view or download this handout for further details about the closure and detour.
One right lane on westbound I-4 through the Maitland Boulevard Interchange will also close from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 31.
The closure is necessary for construction of the Maitland pedestrian bridge. Additional closures in this area are expected during construction. Please visit the Maitland pedestrian bridge web page to learn more.
