On Wednesday, October 28, 2020 a deserving veteran experienced a life-changing event – the presentation of a vehicle to provide him independence and the ability to reach his goals– thanks to Universal Collision and car donor State Farm along with the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides® program.
The presentation was held at Universal Collision at 2345 Apalachee Parkway in Tallahassee, FL. The deserving recipient was selected by Volunteers of America, Florida/Tallahassee Veterans.

The recipient, Clyde Thompson, received a 2009 Toyota Yaris. Thompson said, “It is a true blessing. It gives me the ability to do all the things that I really need to do in terms of following my dreams.”
NABC Recycled Rides® is a unique program in which businesses representing all facets of the collision repair industry team up to repair and donate vehicles to individuals and families in need of reliable transportation. Since the inception of the NABC Recycled Rides® program in 2007, members of the National Auto Body Council® have donated more than 2,500 vehicles valued at more than $36 million.
