Interstate 95 northbound will be closed at Hallandale Beach Boulevard beginning at 10 p.m. Thursday, to 5 a.m. Friday, January. 7-8, 2021 to remove an overhead sign structure.
The closure will include the managed lanes in both northbound and southbound directions, and also one general purpose lane in the southbound direction. Lanes will began closing at 9 p.m.
Motorists traveling northbound on the I-95 general purpose lanes will be detoured to the I-95 off-ramp to Hallandale Beach Boulevard and return to I-95 northbound via the I-95 on-ramp from Hallandale Beach Boulevard.
Motorists traveling northbound on the I-95 managed lanes will be required to exit the managed lanes at Ives Dairy Road into the I-95 general purpose lanes; will be detoured to the I-95 off-ramp to Hallandale Beach Boulevard, and; return to I-95 northbound via the I-95 on-ramp from Hallandale Beach Boulevard.
The southbound inside I-95 general purpose lane and managed lanes will be closed. The I-95 managed lanes southbound entrance, south of Stirling Road, will be closed. Motorists can use the managed lanes entrance south of Ives Dairy Road.
Detours will be clearly indicated and Florida Highway Patrol will be on-site to assist motorists.
