A portion of Northeast 36th Avenue is scheduled to be reduced to one lane of traffic Saturday, Jan. 16, while construction crews conduct bridge work over the CSX Rail line.
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will close one lane between Northeast 21st Street and Northeast 24th Street from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for crews to work on the new bridge being erected immediately to the west of the existing bridge. Flaggers will be present to allow northbound and southbound motorists to cross the existing bridge on an alternating basis. During this operation, traffic in both directions will be stopped intermittently for brief durations.
