Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Three to the Enterprise Florida Board of Directors
Governor Ron DeSantis today announced the appointment of Sonya Deen Hartley, Scott Ross and Cody Khan to the Enterprise Florida Board of Directors.
Sonya Deen Hartley
Deen Hartley, of Tallahassee, is Vice President of Government Relations for JM Family Enterprises. Previously, she was a Senior Director with Diageo. Deen Hartley has volunteered her time with Associated Industries of Florida, the Florida Chamber of Commerce, the American Financial Services Association, the State Legislative Leaders Foundation and the United States Chamber of Commerce. She earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and public administration from Florida State University.
Scott Ross
Ross, of Tallahassee, is a Partner at Capital City Consulting and former Deputy Secretary of the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. He is a member of the Florida Bar and served on the Florida Federal Judicial Nominating Commission for the 115th Congress. Ross earned his bachelor’s degree in English from Florida State University and his juris doctor from Nova Southeastern University.
Cody Khan
Khan, of Panama City, is Chairman & CEO of Oasis Resorts, Vice Chairman of Hilton Inc., and President & CEO of Holiday Golf Course. He has volunteered his time with the Bay County Tourism Development Council and the Chip Hilton Classic Foundation benefitting the University of Florida Health Shands Hospital. Khan holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and mathematics and a master’s degree in economics.

Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Craig Mateer to the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority
Governor Ron DeSantis today announced the appointment of Craig Mateer to the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority.
Craig Mateer
Mateer, of Orlando, is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CCM Capital Group and the former Chief Executive Officer of Bags, Inc. He is a member of the Florida State University Board of Trustees and the university’s Micco Society. He was named the Orlando Business Journal’s 2014 CEO of the Year. Mateer earned his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University.

Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Three to the University of West Florida Board of Trustees
Governor Ron DeSantis today announced the appointment of Dr. Paul Hsu, Lewis Bear and Robert Jones to the University of West Florida Board of Trustees.
Dr. Paul Hsu
Dr. Hsu, of Shalimar, is a managing member of PSH of Okaloosa and the owner and chairman of Cyntech, Inc. and Total Parts Plus, Inc. He is also the chairman of the Crestview Technology Air Park and has been involved with the Okaloosa County Economic Development Council, Emerald Coast Military Affairs Council and the HSU Educational Foundation. Hsu earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Taiwan, his master’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Central Missouri and his PhD in engineering management from LaSalle University.
Lewis Bear, Jr.
Bear, of Gulf Breeze, is the President and CEO of the Lewis Bear Company, a wholesale distribution business in Pensacola. He has served on the University of West Florida Foundation Board of Directors, where he was campaign chair and was recently inducted as a Foundation Fellow. Bear has also been involved with the Florida Arts Council, Statewide Health Planning Council Board, Pensacola Museum of Art and the Pensacola Chamber of Commerce. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Troy University.
Robert Jones
Jones, of Westville, is the CEO of Jones-Phillips & Associates, Inc., an economic development consulting firm. He served in the Florida Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserves for 28 years. Jones has served as a trustee of Chipola College and has been involved with Alpha Gamma Rho, the American Legion and the Vintage Triumph Register. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from the University of Florida and graduated with Honors from the United States Army Command & General Staff College.

Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority Board of Directors
Governor Ron DeSantis today announced the appointment of John Weatherford to the Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority Board of Directors.

Weatherford, of Tampa, is a Managing Member at Golden Rule. Previously, he was Vice President at Cadence Bank, Associate Vice President at Sunshine Bank and an Associate at Florida Community Bank. He has volunteered his time with Leadership Tampa Bay, Tampa Connection, the Association for Corporate Growth, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Abe Brown Ministries. Weatherford earned his bachelor’s degree from Saint Leo University and his banking certification from Louisiana State University.
