Florida continues leading the nation with over 2.3 million seniors vaccinated, which is 52% of the state’s roughly 4.5 million seniors. Governor DeSantis continues to pursue innovative ways to increase access to the vaccine for Florida’s seniors. These efforts include setting up community vaccination sites in underserved communities, holding vaccination events across the state at senior living communities, starting a homebound vaccine program, partnering with retail pharmacies and holding faith-based vaccination events.
