The Florida Hospital Association (FHA) continues to work with lawmakers in the Florida House and Senate as they finalize the state budget during the final weeks of legislative session. While tough choices must be made during any budget negotiation, FHA believes that when it comes to hospital funding, the decision should be easy. Funding for health care should not be cut during a health care crisis.
To help understand the impact that the proposed cuts from the Florida House and Senate would have on Florida’s hospitals, FHA has released hospital impact analyses for each of Florida’s 40 Senate districts and 10 media market regions. Today, FHA is releasing additional budget impact analyses for Florida’s children’s and rural hospitals.
