“With the Orange County School Board set to meet next week, I call on our School Board Members to join with other districts from around the state in ignoring the threats from the Governor and Commissioner of Education and doing what’s needed to keep all our children safe. We know that enforcing a mandatory mask policy will help reign in the spread of the virus that is putting lives at risks and reduce the number of active quarantines that are already disrupting many students’ school years. It is time for our local elected officials to stand up to those in Tallahassee for the health and well-being of our children,” said Senator Linda Stewart.
