On Tuesday, November 9, 2021, Representative Valdés (D-Tampa) along with state and local leaders is hosting a Town Hall Meeting. Members of the public are encouraged to attend and engage with their elected officials in a open forum discussion.
Representative Valdés issued the following statement: “I strongly believe elected officials should be accessible and responsive to those they represent. A well-functioning democracy is dependent on direct dialogue and engagement between citizens and their elected officials. I look forward to challenging questions and solutions, ranging from education to criminal justice reform and more.”
Senator Janet Cruz issued the following statement: “I welcome this opportunity to hear from my constituents about the issues that matter the most to them. As we prepare for the upcoming legislative session, this town hall is the perfect venue for constituents to let us know exactly what is impacting them so we can work to address it in Tallahassee.”
Hillsborough County Commissioner Harry Cohen issued the following statement: “The Board of County Commissioners is making major investments in Town ‘n Country and the surrounding communities by prioritizing road resurfacing, stormwater and water quality improvements, septic to sewer conversions, broadband access and improvements to fire rescue services.
