Equality Florida Action PAC, Florida’s largest political committee working to elect pro-equality candidates, announced the endorsement of Eunic Ortiz for Florida State Senate.
“Since 1997, Equality Florida has led the charge for full protections and rights for LGBTQ Floridians. Their legislative advocacy and electoral support for LGBTQ candidates up and down the ballot is helping break barriers and shatter glass ceilings,” said Eunic Ortiz, Candidate for Florida State Senate, District 24. “When Republicans used trans youth as pawns last year when debating and ultimately passing the bill banning trans youth from playing sports as their chosen gender, Equality Florida was there to push back on this discriminatory legislation. They recognized the importance of leadership that centers people and their experiences.
