Sample Road (S.R. 834) will be closed to vehicular traffic for a railway grade crossing rehabilitation from Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022, at 6:00 a.m. to Monday, Feb. 7, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. If necessary to complete the repairs the closing will extend to Feb. 8, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. This will allow workers to safely perform necessary repairs to the FEC railway at Sample Road (SR 834) east of N. Dixie Hwy. Project improvements include rehabilitating the existing track, repairing defective rails, and replacing crossing surface to improve ride quality.
