Meeting will be offered in multiple platforms
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a public meeting regarding project plans on 5th Avenue (U.S. 192) from Riverside Place to Miramar Avenue (State Road (S.R.) A1A) on Tuesday, February 22, at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of this project is to repave this segment of 5th Avenue (U.S. 192) and enhance pedestrian safety along the corridor. Pedestrian safety enhancements include upgrading existing midblock crossings and adding Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs) to enhance visibility of sidewalks. An overhead Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (PHB) will also be added at Palm Avenue.
