CHP encourages members to keep healthy and active with Medicare Advantage Plans
The Big Bend’s local trusted health plan, Capital Health Plan (CHP), today announced that it will sponsor and support the 13th Annual Capital City Senior Games, encouraging adults and seniors ages 50 and up to maintain an active, healthy lifestyle. The Capital City Senior Games, organized by the City of Tallahassee Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Affairs Department, and hosted by the City of Tallahassee, TSC Foundation and Friends of Our Parks, will take place from March 2 to March 15.
The Capital City Senior Games features events designed for all fitness levels among older residents, from non-competitive events such as water aerobics and a 1-mile fun walk, to competitive events including archery, pickleball, tennis, and more. Local athletes will have the chance to qualify for the Florida Senior Games State Championships and potentially the National Senior Games.
“As a Medicare plan located in Tallahassee, we place a high priority on helping members of our community improve their health,” said Toni Kilgore, Medicare Manager of Capital Health Plan. “The Capital City Senior Games is a great way for older adults to exercise their body and mind with other local seniors in a fun and inclusive environment.”
