On Tuesday, May 10 Representative Andrew Learned (D-Brandon) and 29 members of the Florida House and Senate signed on to a letter requesting the Governor to add Russian divestments to the agenda of the upcoming special session.
“Florida’s Retirement System lost over $200 million in our Russian investments after refusing to divest when I first called for it over two months ago,” said Representative Learned. “It’s important that we do whatever we can to protect Floridians’ retirement funds, and I am proud to have the support of so many of my colleagues in the House and Senate.”
