Survey: 72% of voters would support Republican candidates who embrace new technologies and innovation

Posted on November 3, 2022

It is no secret that costs of products and goods across the country have skyrocketed since President Joe Biden took office. That is why voters across the country have inflation and the economy top of mind in the runup to Election Day, according to new polling released by the Conservative Energy Network (CEN).

It’s more important than ever that policymakers across Florida embrace an all-of-the-above approach to energy policy. The CEN poll found that Americans want to see more emphasis placed on all energy sources– particularly on wind and solar power.

When it comes to addressing climate change and clean energy solutions, 72% of all voters would be more likely to support a Republican candidate who embraces policies that promote new technologies and innovation. That is why conservatives are taking ownership of clean energy solutions in Congress, the state legislature, and town halls across Florida.

With Election Day just days away, CEN’s polling suggests that voters are yearning for new and fresh ideas as they head to the ballot box. With campaigns making their closing arguments, they should be focusing on how conservative clean energy solutions can bring money to our economy and lower consumer electric bills. After all, this election is all about the economy.

George Riley is the State Director for Conservatives for Clean Energy – Florida.
