On Monday, Nov. 21 at 1:00 p.m., the Florida Senate Democratic Caucus will host the official designation ceremony for Leader Lauren Book (D-Davie) as the Senate Democratic Leader for the 2022-2024 term.
In addition to current and former Senate Democratic legislators and leaders in attendance, the designation ceremony will feature former Senate Democratic Leader Oscar Braynon (D-Miami Gardens), former Senator Bill Montford (D-Tallahassee), Parkland parent and gun safety advocate Fred Guttenberg (Broward), gun safety advocate Romania Dukes (Miami), members of the Florida Highway Patrol Color Guard, children from Tallahassee’s Making Light Productions, and more.
