Improvements also include milling and resurfacing the roadway at each end of the bridge and adding new pavement markings.
On March 20, the beach under the bridge at Phil Foster Park will close to accommodate the deck replacement. It will remain closed until fall 2023.
Construction is beginning in March 2023 and is anticipated to be completed in late 2023. The estimated construction cost is $4.4 million.
