The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) will hold a Commission Conference on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, following Internal Affairs to address the revenue requirements in Florida City Gas’ (FCG) rate increase request.
FCG is a natural gas utility that provides service to approximately 116,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers in Florida’s Miami-Dade, Broward, St. Lucie, Indian River, Brevard, Palm Beach, Hendry, and Martin counties. In May 2022, FCG filed a petition with the PSC to increase its base rates.
The Commission conducted four virtual and in-person customer service hearings in September 2022 to allow feedback from customers about the utility’s quality of service and rate increase request. In December 2022, a technical hearing was held in Tallahassee, where evidence and testimony were presented from witnesses for FCG and interveners in the case.
