Firm recognized with five awards for campaigns during PR industry event
Building on its 27-year legacy of excellence in the field of public relations and integrated communications, Sachs Media earned the top honor in the 2023 Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Capital Chapter Image Awards last night – receiving the Grand All Image Award for the firm’s “Hometown Hero Housing Program” campaign on behalf of Florida Realtors®.
The Hometown Hero Housing Program campaign also earned an Image Award and a Judges’ Award for the firm. Sachs Media also received another Image Award and Judges’ Award for its “Kickstart Success: Supporting Childhood Education at Northwest Florida” campaign for the Early Learning Coalition of Northwest Florida.
The Annual FPRA Capital Chapter Image Awards competition recognizes public relations practitioners in the Capital City area for exceptional work in a range of categories.
“It’s such an honor to be recognized by our peers for the high-impact work we do for our clients,” said Michelle Ubben, President and CEO at Sachs Media. “It’s especially gratifying that these campaigns had such a meaningful, positive impact on people’s lives – from bringing housing into reach for essential workers to ensuring access to quality early childhood education. That’s what drives us.”
Florida Realtors® engaged Sachs Media to help gain legislative relief for front-line workers in response to Florida’s affordable housing challenges. Equipped with data comparing the wages of front-line workers to the increasing housing costs, the campaign made the case to legislators through a press conference, an interactive website, and compelling video narratives shared by local heroes on social media, as well as highly targeted advertising efforts. Campaign content reached policymakers an average of 24 times each, helping to win $100 million in funding for the program.
The Early Learning Coalition of Northwest Florida engaged Sachs Media to address the critical shortage of child care teachers in the seven-county region of Bay, Calhoun, Franklin, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, and Washington counties. Through a combination of social media advertising, digital advertising, and Over-the-Top advertising, as well as more traditional methods such as radio advertising and gas pump advertisements, the campaign exceeded objectives and generated attention from over 3,000 people interested in child care teaching.
Drew Piers, Sachs Media’s Managing Director and Partner, expressed gratitude for the firm’s continued success and leadership in the industry.
“We could not be more proud of our outstanding team of professionals,” said Piers. “They set an extremely high bar for excellence, creativity, and commitment to causes that make a difference in our communities.”
