During May’s Older Americans Month (OAM), the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) is visiting senior centers across Florida. On Wednesday, May 31, PSC staff will assist seniors in Leon County.
This year’s OAM theme, Aging Unbound, is an opportunity for the PSC to celebrate seniors and support their active, independent lifestyles. PSC representatives meet with seniors to discuss water and energy conservation to lower utility bills, tips to avoid scams targeting utility customers and applying for the Lifeline Assistance telephone/broadband discount program.
If you’re interested in attending, the Leon County event is scheduled for the following time and location:
Wednesday, May 31, 2023
11:30 a.m.
