UF’s Career Showcase 2023

The University of Florida is excited to announce its upcoming Career Showcase. This event is designed to give students the opportunity to meet with recruiters from a variety of companies and organizations to explore potential career paths and connect with potential employers. The event will take place September 19-20 at the University of Florida campus.

Students will have the opportunity to explore the variety of career options available to them in industries such as technology, healthcare, and finance. Attendees will also be able to network with recruiters and learn more about potential job opportunities and internships.

The event is free and open to all students and alumni of the University of Florida. We invite all interested students to attend and explore the possibilities available to them through the Career Showcase.

There are currently 369 employers registered for Career Showcase. 154 employers are from Florida.

Notable employers include:

  • Lockheed Martin
  • BlackRock
  • PepsiCo
  • Publix Super Markets
  • NextEra Energy

Career Showcase is a University of Florida tradition. It offers students and alumni the opportunity to find explore internships, part-time, full-time, and co-op opportunities in all career pathways.

Hosted by the university’s Career Connections Center, it is the largest campus-hosted career fair in the Southeast. Career Showcase is two days of in-person networking with top employers from all over the U.S.

Dates and Times for Events:

Non-Technical Day
Tuesday, September 19
9am-3pm
Stephen C. O’Connell Center
Featuring opportunities in accounting, management, sales, government, finance, hospitality, healthcare, communications, marketing, social services, and other non-technical professions.

Technical Day
Wednesday, September 20
9am-3pm
Stephen C. O’Connell Center
Featuring opportunities in engineering, information technology, research & development, architecture, programming, construction, biomedical, manufacturing and other technical professions.

Computer & Information Science & Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Fair
Monday, September 18
1pm-6pm
Stephen C. O’Connell Center – Practice Basketball Court
Featuring opportunities in accounting, management, sales, government, finance, hospitality, healthcare, communications, marketing, social services, and other non-technical professions.

Diversity Meet-Up
Monday, September 18
5pm-7pm
Reitz Union Grand Ballroom
Diversity Meet-Up is a networking event with a fluid atmosphere, without the boundaries of the career fair, for students and employers to connect in a relaxed environment. This is a premier opportunity to maximize the amount of students you see in a quick, casual manner.
