On Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, the House unanimously passed H.R 9C “State of Israel,” sponsored by Representative Katherine Waldron (D-Lake Worth), during the Special Session (108-0). It was co-sponsored by more than 20 Democrat and Republican State Representatives.
This resolution stands as a statement of unwavering support for Florida’s closest ally the State of Israel. The resolution also serves as a condemnation of the terrorist organization Hamas.
“As home to one of the largest concentrations of Jewish people in the United States, Florida has and will always stand with the Jewish people all across the world,” said Representative Waldron.
