The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) arrested Kenneth Michael Mullen, 43, of Clermont, on 11 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material.
The investigation began after the FDLE Cybercrime Task Force in Orlando received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The tip reported a user that uploaded child sexual abuse material. Upon further investigation, the associated information identified Mullen to be the account holder.
On February 16, agents executed a search warrant at Mullen’s residence. Agents seized multiple electronic devices for further examination. During the execution of the search warrant, agents found images depicting the sexual abuse of children, some as young as toddlers.
Mullen was booked into the Lake County Jail on Friday with a $110,000 bond. The case will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, Fifth Judicial Circuit.
